Your Guide to Scuba Diving in the BVI
The BVI is a fantastic place for both expert and novice divers. The waters are crystal clear, the coral well protected, and there is teeming marine life to enjoy. One of the main attractions is "the Wreck of the Rhone" a shipwreck off of Salt Island in 20 to 80 feet of water. The RMS Rhone went down in 1867, but because it was one of the first iron sail/steamers, it is well preserved, and is one of the world's best shipwrecks to explore.
Besides the Wreck of the Rhone, there are many other great diving sites in the BVI, many clustered around the southern islands.
